3 Basic Types of Exercise

There are three basic types of exercise that you need to do in order to maintain a healthy life style. The first type is cardiovascular exercises that will help strengthen your lungs, heart, circulation, and best of all it helps you shed those unwanted pounds. For people who aren’t used to doing heavy cardio work, start off with something small like taking walks around your neighborhood, dancing, or jogging, and then work your way up to playing tennis, running, playing football, snowboarding, etc. The second part is strength training; this is to build up your natural strength so you’ll have more muscle endurance to perform all the busy activities throughout your day. You don’t have to be a world class body builder like Arnold Schwarzenegger, to pack some muscle onto your body. Doing sit-ups, pull-ups, push-ups, and using free weights will help you pack on muscle on to your body. The third and final part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle is increasing your flexibility. So stretching everyday would be helpful for increasing greater motion in your joints and would be less susceptible to injury. Remember you won’t get the perfect abs over night, but with hard work and dedication you’ll be in perfect health with that perfect body.
